console

Ya, my friend just got halflife and d/l a bunch of other mods. He can't open he console ingame though. Anyone know why? i can't help him since it always worked for me but i played at his house and I can't open it so I got no idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx

in game someone told me that "fun mode" is funusage ingame... i tried that in my own server with bots, ultimate bots, yet i go back to console and it doesnt say any "unknown command" and yet there arent mutiple ps's on one very neglected bot.... i started an new server, type funusage and it...

Yeah, just wanted to know if there are anything I can do in console while running a server. Like raise starting Pl or lower gravity, that kind of stuff.

so this is the major question do u prefer to go to the arcade or play at home? personally i prefer the arcade to the console. it just the autmosphere. u get more competetion at the arcade, and since i play alot of fighting games thats just a huge plus. arcades always seem to have a game that...

Hey guys... can any of you tell me the command to change model by using the console...?

Well as mentioned in the "console trouble" thread, I can't use the console to change models. I've tried the normal HL command for it "Model ModelName" (where ModelName is the name of a random Model I downloaded the other day) but it doesn't seem to do anything. Did I make a mistake or is this...

Well, short and sweet, my console won't pop-up. I've no other keys bound to the ~ key but when I press it nothing happens. I have also checked for the -console in the shortcut, but it was there. What could be wrong?

Can someone please tell me the bind line in the config.cfg for console because when i press "`" it dusnt do anything. The same goes for "~"

why wont my console work? i can play online but my console wont work. this is what comes up and whilst in there i can type whatever i like. please help me out , # AND DONT SAY BUY THE ORIGINAL GAME CAUSE I DID!

In game the console won't come up and I have changed the shortcut and placed the -console on the end of the games directory but it don't pop up.

How do you enable the console to work in game. I have enabled it and it comes up at the start but i cant open it in game. Can someone help me? ;)

Ok, well I have never had this problem before when I play at my SL Server, but since its been down because I moved out, I've been in pub server alot more. And in every server I go into, I'll play for about 30 minutes and then my game will completely exit out to the desktop or to the full screen...
