I've had my 360 since about 8 months after launch. Still don't regret it. A few of my friends have gotten RROD, including one of my roommates, but they got theirs fixed in very short order. Don't know what to tell you. My Wii on the other hand, fried itself within about 2 weeks of owning it...

I refuse to support China for humanitarian reasons. I think it was a terrible decision to hold the Olympics in China--especially in Beijing--and as such, won't be supporting them, either.

360 also has the most, and highest rated, games of any of all the current-gen consoles. What I'm really looking forward to is the Netflix update. No longer will I have to pay absurd prices and have severe restrictions on what I can watch. For one fee, access to the library. Mwuhaha..

Who cares about Final Fantasy? They've all blown since 9. More importantly, Microsoft announced the NETFLIX partnership. Soon for one flat fee, you'll be able to stream their entire online library at will. Much more exciting, to me.
