Maybe they should put this map on 1.3 release if it goes well, because so far i'm loving it!!!!!
And other people should use those trees for their maps, it doesn't look half bad!

It's.... Breath taking, words can not describe it. It's got nearly every aspect of a map someone could want. You can hide in the water, there is heaps of spcae for fighting etc.

I like the map and all, kongkong, but I think it's bugged. The Old Kai sound wavs that are played can not only be heard when near Old Kai but also when you're anywhere else on the map. Also, I think the map may have corrupted my ESF files, I can no longer create a server (LAN or other) anymore, as the team selection window will flicker constantly and just refresh when I try to choose a character--I noticed when I clicked ESC the 'Disconnect' button wasn't there. I'm not sure if these issues are related to the map or anything it's just they only started occurring after I downloaded it. So I thought I'd give you a heads up.

hello again, whenever i load the map then it does everything but the when you want to choose your character the following error appears and the game goes out:

CiceroUIWndFrame: hl.exe-Application Error.

The instruction at "0x094cd392" referenced memory at "0x09618708". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program.


So will someone pls help me, the map looks great!

well yea the old kai sound wav was the only bug left... the sound was emmbedded into the qc file so whenever you're facing the old kai, you'll hear the sound. this was made so that if the old kai was killed, the sound would stop playing. if i made the sound come from the map, then if the old kai was killed the sound might keep playing. or if the old kai was thrown with telekenesis in 1.3, the sound would still play

anyways i doubt the map corrupted your esf files. it might be your computer

for the others, it might be your computer. settings, system, etc.

anyways theres secret areas in the map, find them =)

Hmm there must be an error in the map.

I tried it several times.

I made an Dedicated Server and i wanted to connect. Then my ESF disconnected me from my server, in the console it had written "NO Steam Logon" or somehting like this.
Then i restarted the server with an other map, and it worked.
Then i made esf_zsword as an map it didnt worked again.

Then i tried normal ESF (Listenserver i beleive its called ^^) and i had an map running.
Then i choose esf_zsword and it closed my ESF instantly.

What could the problem be ?All my other maps are working fine.

Maybe its the sound from oldkai that causes the problem ??

I had that problem before, and honestly i still do have the problem. But it only appears for me if i ALT-TAB to windows when steam joins a server. When i join back in the game, that flikker is appearing. This is a steam / game related problem.

And SSJGoku83, are you sure you have all the files correctly in the ESF folder? If files are missing, it might cause some problems. But i'm not really sure about it though, i haven't tried the map out myself due i'm not at home.

Yes im totaly sure that i installed everything correct.
Cause i know how to install an map ^^

I placed the files in my Dedicated Server folder and in my other ESF Folder,where is for when i host an game.

Strange, it should simple work. I also put the files on the HL2files server, and one of the ESFw server. But i still have to try it out today if it works. KongKong on the other hand joined the HL2files server yesterday with his map on it, and it worked just fine.
