i have done some researching and so but i just want to confirm/check here with you guys
so to connect to xbox live all i need to do is connect my console to a broadband connection, and then enter in the xbox live code right?

also how would it work for me to play games like say gta iv outside of nz? because i would like to play with you guys on these forums but with atleast even ping

been there done that, just wanted a confirm because i cant be botherd moving my 360 down stairs and connecting it up again to see that i might need another accesorie or something that i dont have

To get your 360 hooked up to the internets, you need either an ethernet cable that you can plug into the back of it, or you need a wireless network set up at home, plus the wireless adapter that you plug into one of the USB ports in the back of the 360. The adapter costs a pretty penny, so if you have the option of using your ethernet cable, use that instead.
