Short answer :
CZ is missing some key files that are required for ESF to run. Even if you get CS through CZ the files are still missing.

You would need a retail copy of CS, or Half-Life 1 to run ESF.

Maby its the fact that ESF is a multiplayer only game. There is no new game there is only multiplayer.

If you have 1.6 then it means you have hl...
Anyways if you can run cs1.6 you can run esf.

Unless you got CS 1.6 from CZ in that case ESF will not work
