Hey everyone ;p glad to see this place back, i've recently escaped the bowels or WoW and i need some help >_<

I've basically, screwed over my social life and artistic ability playing this ****ing game for the past year or so... I've recently Leveled a blood elf pally to 70 and specced prot, and during the process of gaining rep/items I found myself incredibly unhappy with my real life, and this wow disease really isn't helping. So, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions how/where to sell my account. I've got 2 lvl 70's (one decently geared, the other i dinged 70 2 weeks ago) and all these sites I've tried don't offer anymore than $140 for my account, I'm not being funny, but i wont accept lower than £100 for my account, I mean the time spent on it, I could have worked the same hours in a 3rd world country and probably earned more.

Sry just saw it.Illegal?I didnt know.There is a lot WoW selling accounts.Anyway those are some sites.And you can sell your account to some friend or to someone in your town,not from internet.

Fair enough, but damn, if you waisted a year of your life on a game you had to pay for every month you'd want something back.

It was fun playing, but when you're 20, you really shouldn't be wasting such large amounts of time doing something completely worthless :S

WoW really is the devil. I play somewhat more casually, and I make sure reality comes first, so the only toll it has is the occasional hit to my Visa. I've heard of people selling their accounts for upwards of $400 CAD, but I can't remember where... sorry. Good luck with reality though, I hear it can be very rewarding.

By the way, it shouldn't be so hard getting 100£ for it, I've heard of people getting 200£ for high level accounts in other countries. Illegal though? Why would it be?

sadly how many 70's you have on an account is irrelivant when selling, it only values through the most geared character.

I could do some searching around later and probably give you an estimate price based off your highest geared character.

Because if your read the user agreement, the account really doesn't belong to you, nor does the gold in the game (hence gold selling illegal)

Surely the number of characters would matter if selling on some kind of auction site/privately selling?

Any help would be great, though i have a feeling that it's not as easy as type in some details - here's the best price.

I'm not sure if it's allowed anymore, but I've seen WoW accounts go pretty high on ebay.

I see your predicament dave, but this is against the wow TOS, so I can't really help you too much.



ps put it up on ebay in 3 day bursts, because it takes a while for bliz to request, and get it taken down, that way you can keep putting it up continuously until it sells.

on the ebay thing, list THE COMPLETE SET OF GEAR (including mounts, reputation, skills, everything, and all characters on the account)
if the transaction is by paypal DO NOT HAND THE INFO OVER IF THE MONEY IS PENDING, wait until it's final, the downside to this is someone can simply contest the charge and without screenshots of email confirmations and feedback ont eh account, paypal will go with the complainer (this happened to me), so keep in mind the secret question so if you get ripped off you can always steal your account back.
