I would like your opinions on the comment left by "SAYERJIN" do you agree with what this person said, do people like "me" ruin the gameplay? If so how?

I just play the way which is most fun for me, frags dont really mean anything to me in terms of funfactor.

Dont listen to him (sayerjin), youre not playing any different than what i would call standard play. I play much the same, though i tend to milk a few more kiblasts and beams when i can, depends how well people stay on my ass.

You only ruin the gameplay because the other players simply cant keep up with you. From what i can tell, theyre using adv melee on you simply to have a breather and regain some composure. Maybe sit back a little after a Basic melee combo and charge a beam instead of waiting for them to get up to melee again, but thats my opinion. You tend to start using kiblobs in this situation as the vid progresses, so nothing naughty here really.

Also im impressed you do so well with the camera zoomed out so far, i have a lot of trouble playing this way myself, despite the greater field of view.

Keep it up, cause i dont see how your style of play is controversial

There should be more players on this level. Then it would finally be fun again to play. I haven't played in months because its just too boring to own noobs all the time

I think your just joking, but I cant tell :\
If your not joking, then I d consider it a decent slap in the face, I havent even used Swoop Scripts in my dreams let alone in reality.

There is no honour in Swoop scripts.

So yeah, there is nothing wrong with the way you play at all.

Well in their defence, even if they were decent players I could'nt really tell, since pretty much all the people in that server were in the same boat as me, high ping. I had like 230 ish, but the people on that server had pings ranging from like 120ish to like 500+.

But I gotta say my favorite part of playing in that server was when it was the whole evil team vs me, which was about 5-6 people, that was great fun.

Eh...we either pick Goku or Vegeta because they're the most balanced, not because there's no other way to win. Buu is frowned upon for the exact opposite reason, and the other characters are fine if you're on a pub. In tournaments they're useless since you can't trans.

It changes the way things look so some things look like they are much further away etc. And the gameplay can seem to be faster when it is enabled. All pro quake players use it, but i havent used it in esf since it kinda made anglehitting weird..

So do you use that or am i seeing things?

To me it looks like he has a normal fov. Youtube messes with the quality and he may have recorded this through a demo

He's recording from a demo, a demo on ESF makes the player shift around while swooping.

these are the settings I was using in the vid and ya I was recording the demo.

default_fov 120
cam_idealdist 130
snapto
cam_idealpitch -5

some of these setting probably just handicap me somewhat, but I like the way it feels, and yes it does make the gameplay seem faster which is mainly why I stuck with using them. Actually I have been using 2 or 3 of those since 1.1.
