Won't install thru steam

I've looked at the stickies and it won't work...........

Right i put in my cd-key
Then it says something about all these packages and i tick them all
I run half life normally not thru steam
Steam doesn't copy or do nething and wants to download the whole games!!

Copy the Half-life folder to the steam games folder
example
C: \Program files\Valve\Half-life
take that folder, and paste it in
C: \Program files\steam\steamapps\"Accountname"\
then start steam, try to start half-life and let it upgrade it
