Won isn't something you can download. Won is the system that Half-Life uses to keep track of people who use it online.

To play esf you need to go out and buy a copy of Half-Life which you can find at any store for no more then $20, you must then update it to its most current version (v1.1.1.0) and then download and install esf.

Also, there is a new program out called Steam which can also be used to play half-life, esf, and other mods. But it doesn't have a big as a user base as the original won system, but at some point in the near future the won system is shutting down and steam will replace it.

I hope this explanation managed to clear some things up for you about won, half-life and esf.

yeah... you either play on steam, or WON. WON is what appears when you double click the game, steam is a separate program that uses half life and is separate from WON, you have to download it.
