since my other thread was closed i decided to make another one. anyways, i decided to want to release this map, since it's the only map i feel is ready. i actually wanted models of the four kais and the grand kai, but i guess no one wanted to make them =( well here's screenies. when i can get a host i'll be sure to get a link in this thread

new things i did:
- no more destroyables
- made sort of a ceiling, just the four corners of it
- redid the asteroids and planets to look more clean

Go in Hammer, select all brushes, and show us a few images in the 3D window. It looks like you can cut out a lot of brushes from your map.

i did all i knew of to cut out unnecessary brushes out.. but heres the pictures.. the last picture is inside the stadium where i deleted unnecessary brushes

oh true dj, true =P ha right in front of my eyes

anyways just playing it, two of my highlights from the fight


i surprised him with kame torpedoes, he was struggling with them. while he was i charged up a kamehame ha, and when he swatted them away i shot at him =P


thought this was funny, banged his head on the stands muahah

Since the WPoly is so high, you should try both or one of the following: tie brushes that make a lot of contact with other brushes to Func_Wall, or you can delete some small areas and remake them using less brushes.

oh yeah i did, heeh thanks for the reminder opt, the epoly is now at 2200, i fixed the collumn holders and made those func_walls along with the planets

the map looks cool,i hope you release it,and could you post the refs for the kai's?i might model them if you want :]

oh sweet man! =) are you serious, that would make the map even more fun... aye heres the refs i posted in my old thread, and yea its pretty fun.. do u want to do the announcer too? might be a little too much, but i'd put him in the center

EDIT: before i release it, should i make the ring with or without water? i actually want to have a trigger in the level that would show water on top of the ring. so ATTENTION ALL MAPPERS, if any of you could give me suggestions how to trigger water to appear over the water, please let me know
