XP has the most stable Kernel, in my opinion it is technologically superior. The first one they write in C# might even be better.

ME is a porky version of 98's kernel, 98 is the single most unstable kernel in the whole family.

because i'm a nerd: ME sux, The best r either Win 2K or Win98 SE. Win XP has tonne of crashes, despite what people think... and ME just plain sux

XP can't even use DOS, so MUGEN is out the drain, that's why I like win 98.

LOL... C# is Microsofts answer to Sun's java. It's supposed to be platform independent (for Microsoft this usually means running on Win 9x and NT), usable on webpages, and newbie programmer proof (no own memory managment). So this means slow. No way they're gonna write an OS in that. On the other hand, we ARE talking about microsoft

I voted for Win XP. That seems the most stable Windows yet. I don't really like Linux, i'd rather work with my OS instead of on it

I have XP on my other computer.....
And i think that its design...u know..the buttoms and everything else....

ME is one of the worst OS ever written in the history of computing.

98 needs to be reinstalled at least once every 3 months to prevent it from eating up too much hd space(it slowly expands itself with uncessecary logs and whatnot)

95 was one of the more stable OS that they wrote, but it wasn't really made with the internet in mind.
Win2k isn't too bad, but there isn't a lot of software suport for it

XP is just garbage..its riddled with security holes. PLUS, everytime you use Media Player 8(built into XP), it logs what you viewed/listened to, and sends that log back to Microsoft.

Makes you think, doesn't it..
