Windows installer problem

I've tryed to install 3DS Max on my pc, but tthen appears error of windows installer. It says here that the windows installer program was installed to a wrong directory or smthg.

WHAT COULD IT MEAN??????!!!????

It means get something other than 3ds max or a new Operating System. Mac is the way to go. Mac > all

Well, I'm 99.999~% sure that you have a warez version of Max, so that's most likely the problem.. Faulty Max-rip.

But I agree with Fire Phoenix ^^ Go get a Mac (allthough I'm not sure if discreet updated Max to universal binary yet)

Well, here's the thing:
- If the version you have is a copy/warez.. Hah, bad luck for you.
- If you have an official and legal version, contact discreets' helpdesk.

Try going into C: \Program Files\Common Files. Find something along the lines of Installshield, and delete the installer stuff, Windows will remake it. Last time I had a problem with installer, that did the trick. I can't remember the exact directory since I'm on a formatted version of Windows and the dir hasn't been created yet.

P.S. Don't hold me liable if you f' up and delete something important, it worked for me, might not work for you.
