Wich patch to play

Can someone plz tell me what patch i need to download from HL1 to play ESF,and in what map i have to install ESF

All you need is steam here:
www.steampowered.com
Download it then install HL in steam apps/your username/Half-Life.
Then install ESF in the Half-Life folder in steam.
Open steam and it automatically updates, then go to my games and click once on HL and say install(Then it will update!) then you can open up ESF and search for servers or create a server.
