WHY CANT I LOAD MY MAP?!?!

I JUST MADE A MAP AND I PUT IT IN MY ESF FOLDER AND IT WONT LOAD INTO MY ESF GAME AND I DONT KNOW WHY SOMEONE HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Alright, calm down, getting mad at ESF isn't going to make it load your map.
You put it into your ESF folder? Or your ESF/maps folder?
Once it's there, it should appear on the map list. Load it up on a LAN game and it should work, if it doesn't have any errors.

hmmm I had this prob one time when I D/Led a map ... it didnt have the BSP extention on ... try checking that too and as DragonDude said calm down !

If you made the map yourselves try add a info_deathmatch, this way it will appear on the list, if this is not the case place the bsp file in c:\sierra\half-life\esf\maps .

1) You didn't compile your map into a .BSP. Read the stickies on a compiling explaination.

2) You didn't add an Info_Player_Deathmatch.

3) You put it into the wrong folder.

4) The file is corrupted.

5) There was an error during compile, but it still produced a .BSP that was incomplete and would not load up.

6) Your map has no visible brushes.
