Who was the strongest Android?

A debate seems to have arisen recently regarding the strength of each Android during the Android Saga in Dragonball Z. This thread was created with the intention of finding the answer to this question, even if it is a theoretical one.

Edit: It may also be fun to narrow down the strengths of each Android compared to each other. For example, which one was quicker? Which one was more knowledgeable in combat? (note: the strongest isn't always the winner. Piccolo knows a lot more about battle than guys twice his power level for example). Things like that.

Um 16 was obviously the strongest. He was the only one who could stand up to Imperfect Cell lvl 1. 17 admitted he was stronger too. There is no debate. It is defacto.

Wasn't Android 17 already weakened by the brawl with Piccolo by the time he faced Cell?

And I suppose I should have been more specific with the term "strongest"... Let me rephrase it.

Androids don't get weaker. They just breath heavy for no reason. That's another big whole in DBZ character development. 16 was the "more powerful"

"you want me to think your more powerful, when its actually you whos getting worn down". I have just watched the fight with piccolo and he doesnt do any heavy breathing. It doesnt mean he doesnt experience pain just that he never breathes heavily.

Androids never weaken? Yet they still feel pain, but they don't breathe heavily...

The strongest andriod technicly was Cell (a.k.a. Android 21 i believe)

Even if they do breathe heavily, they are still half human, I'd think breathing would be nice, if 18 can have kids, I'm sure they can breath and bleed

And androids do have an unlimited power supply. At least 17, 18 and 16 did.

Evil Trunks is right...... the andriods did have access to an unlimited supply of energy..... their bodys may fail but their energy reserve never gets depleted

Krillin used the wish to get rid of the bomb inside of 18, just like the bomb that Bulma removed from 16. When Goku learns about Krillin and 18 having a child, he says its impossible because she is an android, and Krillin replies that she started out human and modifications were just made to her.
