Where does beta 1.2.1 go?

Where do I set the installation for beta 1.2.1 what folder with esf folder?

I believe it automatically sets the right folder, but if I recall correctly it was the main half-life folder.

i placed mine in folder esf and it works so id say put in into esf folder.

I tried but I get an error. I've been trying to install it

Well two times ESF isn't gonna do good, If you tried installing it in the ESF directory, try C:\Sierra\Halflife\

Alright, tried that. Didn't work, so completely uninstalled Esf. Then Downloaded the 1.2.1 on the main page and getting same error


ESF could not be found on selected destination. Please choose again.

You sure you installed ESF beta 1.2 there? Sounds like you only tried to install the patch

If so, first download 1.2 then 1.2.1 to update it

Where can I get 1.2? I deleted that.

I had the same problem and could not install the patch
Carnage is right... install the patch into the Halflife folder, not the esf
folder

uh help please i have steam and i installed it to my halflife folder /myemail/halflife/esf and i have no fricking clue where to put the patch. i select my halflife folder and it says esf not found and the same thing when i select my esf folder.... please someone point me to a faq for installing it for steam thanks
