right i have a router and it states on the steam website
If you're sure that your 'Net connectivity is functioning but you are still unable to log in to Steam, it may be because the required ports are blocked by a device on your network (such as a router).
The following ports must be "open":
UDP 1200
UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive
TCP 27030 to 27039 inclusive
thats all good and well but i have no damn idea where to enter these values
i can get into my router set up and all, its just that there is heaps of differnet options and i dont have a clue where to enter them or even how to enter them proparly
dear god i cant play esf because of this stupid router
i would show you screen shots of my router setup options but i dont know how to do that either hahah.........ohhhh
