What Was Your Faviorest Game Ever

If it's got my current favourite band in it, what's stopping it from being the best game ever?

Uhh, i guess i'd choose HalfLife 2. But it's definitely not my favorite game of all time. None of the above is. My favorite would be The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. I've been playing it for 5 years and counting and it never gets boring. I even got bored of Oblivion, which is a sequel to this game.

Technically, Oblivion isn't a sequel. It's just the next installment in a long running series of games taking place in the same universe.

I did too, find it boring after a while. The vanilla installation isn't very good but it's fortunate that their are a lot of modifications and plugins to make it all a better experience. Sure can be a lot of work though. Once, I found after sifting through a giant list of mods that I liked and didn't like, by the time I was actually ready to play a game, I was bored of it already. :/

True that. Although Oblivion is a nice game and the world is immense, the same features that make it great, make it boring at the same time. Same thing with the mods, there are thousands of mods that make the game even better (both visually and gameplay) but there are just way too many to choose from.

As of late? Singleplayer games? Solid, pwn-ass singleplayer games?

Fable II, Assassin's Creed /2, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, BioShock, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Mass Effect, Left 4 Dead. These are a couple of games I've picked up in the past year or so, and I totally loved. Well developed singleplayer games (for the most part), ones you can enjoy, and ones that really pay off in the end, in my opinion.

All-time for me: Diablo /II, Baldur's Gate series, EverQuest, Resident Evil series (primarily 1, 2, 4, "Outbreak"), Dragon Ball Z Densetsu (aka "Legends"), Fable II, Half-Life /2.

Most of us may kick ourselves later for forgetting to mention some beloved game from the heaps of good memories.

Mous4u, this kind of multi-choice poll doesn't work since there are over 1000 videogames in the world so I'll just say it here. My favorite vidyas are Team Fortress 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Metal Gear Solid 3, Street Fighter Alpha and, finally, Resident Evil 4.
I really can't decide which of them I like the most though. And I'm sure I left out a LOT of games I like.
