If it was Nintendo v.s Sony v.s Microsoft v.s SEGA today, that'd be too hectic. There position as of now is pretty decent, but if they aided in the creation of consoles, that'd work too.

All three of them are from Japan. I'm glad that we have an American company competing against them now. I mean that as nothing racist, just in the sense that Japanese games tend to be very different then American games.

Why aren't there any European companies producing consoles ?

Sega had its time imo, the current line up seem to have all genre's well covered, yet variety is the spice of life D: more the better.
