Actually it is in fact still a beta since its still in development. Basically 1.2.3 is beta cause 1.3 is still being made. If 1.2.3 would be the last version than it wouldn't be beta.

In any case the thing people are confusing is not the beta part but the 1.3 part. It's still in development so its still beta. But it isn't a finalized release.

Its only called open beta cause it isn't the actual 1.3. Its the inteam version of the game going to be 1.3 ^^
