Want your high poly model in hl?

Do you have a high poly model that u wanted in hl but its just too high poly? Well todays your lucky day (if you have 3ds max 4) I found a proggy that reduces polies up to 75% without loosing its shape!!! and yes! it works, if you dont have max I will do it for you Just send me the model at [email protected] on msn and I'll send back to you

Wow this thing looks amazing, I'd say it might be one of the greatest conversion tools....if you think about it..

It sounds ****ing awsome, but there has to be a catch in the models shape/form ;/

probabaly true, but, BUT, it probabaly just does small changes, theres no way posible to lower the polys without changing the shape a little

Look at the truck example. Notice Front lights and the mirrors disappear? Basically this proggy just takes away polies from edges. And as the ESF moels are plyer models, high on polies because they are supposed to be round (box arms don't look well) this tool probably will mess up the model's look... at least when you reduce up to 75 percent or more. I think it might still be usesable when reducing 15/20 percent, but nothing more. And have another look at th examples on the page. They all have big wide faces, which you dont have on human shapes...

I don't know if it will work, so I say try it out if you don't believe it! take a normal ESF model and just try it, of course you'll have to have 3dsmax 4...
