Read the title. So yeah I want to get a new rig for $1000 or less Canadian dollars.

Also do you guys suggest I wait until the geforce 8 seriers are released or not?

Personally, the question is if you can really see yourself being able to afford one. IMO, It'd probably be better to wait untill ATI/Nvidia release some DX10 midrange cards in their product lineup.
