I've played ESF when it came out originally like 15-20 years ago. It was a really awesome half life one mod, and I felt one of the best DBZ experiences at the time.
It looks like it's come a long way from the screen shots, but the lack of release and anything else leads me to one conclusion. That the game is trying to be as complete and polished as a full game ready made to be sold at retail, which they can't do without the copyright holders blessing, so the game is just in development until the quality reaches a sufficient level and they can convince bandai etc, to purchase the game from them to sell it.
So really we're waiting for it to be bought by the copyright holders to sell and release the game, sounds right yea?
I'm in no way saying people shouldn't be able to make money from they're work, and those who contributed. Just want to try and confirm what we're actually waiting for to be able to play it.
