Its face looks very long. Either the nose or the cheeks are messed up. It might be that the nose is sunken in too much. The bottom part of the mouth looks like it sticks out more than the top. I can't really tell because of the perspective. The eyes might be too high.

hrm thats true abit.. the forhead hasn't been shaped yet either.. i think its that and along with the jaw/kneck area that makes it look rlly long..

but besides that whats buggen me is the part under the cheek.. somehow i think it should be different

If you'd post a non-smoothed picture with wireframe overlay, people could actually see
what the vertices and faces do and could not only crit on the way it looks, but also on the way you built it.

Did you use any reference pictures?

I deleted the older pics.. to save space.. I'll just replace the old pics with new pics... instead..

I've never done an ear before.. does anyone here have any experience with making ears?? maybe you could give me a tip..

Also are their any crits about the head I've made so far?

I think the jaw should be stretched in that general direction. And the face still looks very long.

Actually, the skull and neck might just be too small, making the face look longer than it actually is. Just a thought.

I think, your right about the skull and kneck features being a bit too small.. I just finished distorting my face abit and i shrunk the jaw.. and it didn't give me the look i was hopen for.. even when i pulled the jaw back abit...

im gonna try to pulling down the lower-back portion of the skull and maybe begin to shape up the kneck abit and see what I get

The neck looks a little thick. As for the jaw-line, I think you should probably look for some pictures as they'll help you far more than I can.

Alright it's really hard to see something, please change the bg color in the render settings to something like grey.

Now what I can see, the nose is totally out of proportion. It's too long, together with the middle section of the face.
You can check it on your own face, the distance between your eye socket and your mouth isn't as long.
I guess the face needs to be moved up altogether, so that the top of the head gets flatter.
Hard to explain...

That should also help to get that skull shape right.

Man, thanks a LOT "Final Shine" .. that ref simply OWNS when it comes to the body anatomy.. It will not only help me when modeling the body /kneck, but will also help me in drawing. Just curious tho, did you draw that ?

Also thanks for that short film, I always enjoy watching those kind of short films.

Hopefully, I'll be making my own soon >=]

Kam thanks for the skull pic, it's really going to help me alot in shaping the head. Just from looking at that pic.. I can tell you the back-top portion of my head isn't round enough. And I just saw your draw over, and I'll toy with the jaw abit, cuz i know that the back portion of my model's jaw shouldn't be that big ^_^.

Ty lukyas, & no prob, but you must convert to 3ds max~~ get the benefits of both worlds =p. Game modelin, and film? modeling?
