how do you record good esf videos because if i type in the console

record esf 1 then i am recording but if i play it i cant see my model
i only see the turbo or powerup

can someone help me?

Hawk, you can record using a Dem. format, that's fine. Just before you play the demo make sure you get onto a server and play around for a bit. Then play it, trust me that method solves your problem. It's happened to me before.

Now, as the others mentioned Fraps is a good way to record yourself doing stuff. This is because it's in a playable format, capable of being played on different types of programs, Windows Media Player, Realplayer Etc. records as an AVI type.

Ok...

1.- It's not "30 secs", it's 30 fps (Frames Per Second), WHICH IS GOOD.

2.- It's not 30 fps, fraps demo cuts it down in half, meaning it records 15 frames per second. THAT is bad! I know because I've made videos with 30 fps, which is the average and pretty good.
