how do i take a picture of a video that is playing like a screen capture?

I think Snapshot and Screencapture console commands would work.
Or u could pause the game somehow and then take a screen cap

i dont mean while playing esf i mean while watching a video on windows media player i know there is a way to take a picture but how?

Try VirtualDub.

If you want a screenshot from Windows Media Player,

Press Control+I during playback and it'll save a jpeg to the place of your choice.

k thanks guys the ctrl+I thing didnt work for me i got a program called solidcapture it works good but just make sure you go to tools options performance and turn video acceleration off or your pics will be blanks.

Control+I Didn't work? Are you using Windows Media Player NINE series, the most current?

yes windows media 9 series is what i use i believe. doesnt matter it works now with the solidcapture so thx.
