VEOH did something very stupid IMO. What's the point in banning countries when that means losing popularity in the world. They banned like, half of Europe. Even though there might've been little number of users in those countries, those are still users, and it seems not logical to ban them.

They banned countries with the lowest concentration of users. Did people from those banned countries submit videos? Probably. Were there enough people from those countries viewing the site to warrant keeping them within the fold? Obviously not. One or two users shouldn't be catered to. There is no market there. They made a sound decision. Stop complaining and move on. It isn't that big of a deal.
