Dude, first download windows xp performance edition, it will only eat 150-200 MB of ram. Then get all codecs you can for WMP. Then when you are not at home and get bored you can see a movie. As you can see word processing is not the only thing you can do. Check if you can buy some cheap 512 MB of ram that is compatible and add it.

Btw update your display drivers, in case you have a Nvidia and dont know where to get laptop new display drivers go to http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ and you should be able to play some 2004-2005 and maybe some 2006 games. ESF will definatly work lol.

Exactly.... there are a lot of uses for a laptop.
