Use .txt file when linking with geocities?

Ok, I wasn't sure if this thread should go here or in off topic, so I placed it here. :laff: What I wanted to know is how do you put the image file into a .txt file so you can link it using geocities. Can anyone please tell me?

Rename it. I have geocities, so I know, but Ryoko told me (to put credits where they belong). Rename the file to dadasig.txt

by rename he means once u ahve uploaded the image to geocities click its checkbox then click the rename button. then rename it bla.txt

When I try to do it, it says the file name must end with .jpg

You upload it as a .jpg. Then you rename it.
