USB bandwith

so anyway, this is the first time i've come across this problem. the 4 onboard USB slots on my machine will only let me have one or two things plugged in at once, before it screams that it's running out of bandwith.

i have: a microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse, that it reckons is chomping 65%
a webcam, that chomps about 15%
my ipod
and my wacom tablet.

any reason why it would be doing this?

I've never heard of a computer doing that before because of USB ports.

It should help. Basically if you plug in multiple usb ports, the bandwidth is shared. So the more you plug in, the slower each will go, and more bandwidth it will use (obviously).

This is news to me, I never knew this D:
