Unreal Tournament 3 Free this weekend

UT3 is going to be free this weekend on Steam. It's also going to be on sale for only 12 bucks which isn't a bad deal at all. I think I might buy it for any mods that might come out in the future

I haven't played UT3 since I got it back in '07. I think I'll definitely be reinstalling to try this stuff out. My only gripe, originally, was that barely anyone was playing. If this revives the playerbase, I'll bite

I usually get 2 MB a second with Steam, but yesterday I was getting 300 KB which was weird.

I have around 500kb/s...
In about 2 hours i have got 33% downloaded.

I was surprised with how few people bought UT3.

The thing is, while the engine is terrific, the actual UT3 game is very.... bland. There's really not much special about it, everything feels really generic.

I've had it for a while. LegendarY was right, UT'99 is the best in the series.

The singleplayer was dull and character customization was limited at best. Very pretty but I miss the tournament idea. The original had the right atmosphere.
