Unreal Tournament 3 (Don't look if you're waiting for UT3 to surprise you)

Evening all, (It's evening here anyway)

I've looked on the Wikipedia article for Unreal and it seems to have loads of information.

It seems we are getting loads of new vehicles and the Necris are coming back. The Krall from Unreal are in for the ride (No Skaarj or Gen Mo'Kai it seems, they were awsome). Hoverboards sound cool.

They're also dumping Assault and Onslaught for Unreal Conquest. Should be interesting, I've pondered a mode like this since 2003.

Weapons seem similar, dumping the Minigun for the Tarydium Stinger and the Lightning Gun seems to have died (yay).

So what does everyone else have to say? Looking forward to it?

Remember, there's also the gametypes without vehicles. However, your opinion is your opinion and I won't say ridicule it.

Yeah, but while being that, everyone just plays the assault mode, plus it lures the whiners and noobs to play the game and they start making cheats, whine, and all the annoying stuff, what ruin gameplay.

It would have been good with those graphics, if it would have been a remake of the first one in my opinion.

EDIT:

And i have to say, that they have changed the way to make the game since Unreal Championship. Now the Ut 3 looks a lot like Unreal Championship 2 , especially that Rocket Launcher on the pic.

Unreal Championship 2 was horrible. Only one word = Melee. It can't fit in any fast paced fps games.
I think Ut 3 will be a lot like Uc 2, while Uc 1 was a lot the same as Ut 2k3.

Well this can be my own imaginations, but i'll just wait til it's done and try it and say my opinion then.

frsrblch, that picture is a nice one. Is that big glowy stick the ShockRifle? I swear it gets uglier every version. Hopefully it'll look better in 1st person view.

you know Gears of War was built on the same engine right?

Oh, I know these graphics are going to be sweet. I was just pointing out how unremarkable the screen shot proclaiming awesomeness was.

I don't know how well my computer will run it, but it's a must buy for me

I wasn't able to even consider it until my comp broke (and spent a month on Pentium 3), now I've got two cores of 2.5 GHz ownage each along with 2Gb RAM and a Radeon X1950.

I can't believe the orginal had such a low specs... 200MHz wow...
