I was watching bleach from start again and i was wondering, does anyone of you know of who was Ukitake thinking when he first saw Ichigo?

yep, Kaien was just lut. but he was like captain cuz Ukitake was always sick, and Ichigo couldnt ressemble Kaien, cuz ichigo has orange hair, and Kaien has black, i just know that that mistery never got revealed in anime, maybe in manga?
