Hey thanks for the awesome comments guys! =D

@Theoboy - Well you do know those are just simple colored polies ^_^
Not to mention he's a turtle, he can get his arms, legs and head inside when ever he wants to =P hehe
But dont worry, once I'll skin it the sides wont look as weird.

@donnierisk - <3 thanks man, dont think I'll get into ESF though =P for a few reasons:
Turtle shooting beams? xD
Wont fit into the ESF skeletons, even it will though you'll get tons of weird deformations =P

Thanks again guys for the awesome comments, I'm gonna uvmap teh sucker and then slap a skin on it, and dont worry heh, once I skin him you basicly get all 4 of the turtles done ^_^

i dunno, i dont like the color of the green also the dark of the green at his red thingy, decide if you do above or on the bottom, looks with the lighting wrong.

The turtles are by no means easy to skin, so best of luck :)

i dont like the color of the green
As far as I'm aware the turtles dont have a consistent skin tone, plus they all have different tones too, I think I can go for what I like best, and I find that color quite pleasent, might be a little too contrasted but I like it.

also the dark of the green at his red thingy
I dont think he has anything green on his red thingy :p

decide if you do above or on the bottom, looks with the lighting wrong.
When I texture, no matter what model, I never consider single lighting source, other wise you'll end up with the texture looking extremly weird from other views.
For example, you can skin a hand while considering a single lightsource on the top of the hand (lighting the back of the hand), that part will be the only thing lighted with details and such, the bottm part will be completly shadowed, dark and it wont look right.

In a drawing/2D art I would agree with you but since this is a 3D model, it has a lot of views to consider.

The turtles are by no means easy to skin, so best of luck :)
That's great skin. Good luck with the rest.
Hehe thanks guys =P gonna need it badly, wonder how I'm gonna handle the shell xD

hmmmm a little too dark around the bandana imo, but pretty sweet none the less, the teeth look sweet =P Imo the green could use maybe a little extra texture... methinks you should try some specular maps, for a turtle it'd work awesome.

Humm I agree about the dark areas, caused by the contrast but I'll be sure to fix that.
=O and I never tried specular maps, no idea how that works too =o

Yeah I'm mostly based on viewport Milkshape grabs xD
But specular could be nice for final renders =/ dont know if I want to get into it though.

Lookin' forward to the drawover anyways ;D

Meh, please dont' just slap the black dots on like I did. I just threw them on rofl. Anyways Our skinstyles differ quite a bit, but I think it should help.

Heh =) thanks, I'll try something..
First, lost a little contrast, changed the skintone a little (a reminder that I'll get all 4 of the turtles with different skintone so at least 1 of them will have that other color =/ ) and toned down the dark areas under the bandana
