one thing though, you should lighten her face up a lil.
look a lil too dark and.. i'm thinking it would look better if her face stood out a bit more

Could do, but I like it as it is. It was a bit smaller than what I am used to tho.

I don't like the quality of the garnet pictures you are using, they just seem dull and blurry.
What's different about the background?
One thing i notice with your work is that the character doesn't fit in with the sig, maybe you could try and make a sig that fits around garnet?
