Hi Guys,

it's been a while since i came @ the forum cuz of some work I had to do & i'm @ turkey atm for a nice relaxing holiday..


I noticed alot of difference, improvements..
some awesome sneak-peeks of the christmass.



But what I really would Like to see is..

"Transformations"

Some amazing anime like transformation..

while transforming that you get full protection from beams etc..


just a 2seconds transformation is kinda boring.
Turning SSJ with some amazing cinemetics would be great..
and passing a certain Powerlevel that you directly transform instead of watching the cinemetic over again..

like the old 1.2.3 pack transformations..





I don't know how it is right now.
but would you keep me update grega or someone else?


I'm curious bout transformations in 1.3 final atm

Protection from beams while transforming = abuse written all over it.

We have something else planned that will stop melee invoulnurability of transformations and give people transforming outside of a fight protection.

As for the cinematics. You can bet all you want that dalte and DT will not let you down XD

What about that cinematic editor that PCJoe showed off ages ago? Will something similar like that still be in the game?

@Daisuke: Probably not, NNK is now probably working on their second release.

The old FX system was totally remade. We are now using an XML system.

Its a bit more compley but allows a lot more custimisation.

I too am looking forward to the transformations.
Seeing the effects that are currently displayed in the sneak peaks, i have no doubt that they will pull off amazing displays.
Personally i prefer the unimortal transformations. It makes it more "realistic." But at the same time transforming is an immense show of power, so im hoping for characters of lower powerlevels to be blown away or, make it harder for them to reach you.

What would be cool is while transforming the player can manually pump energy out to keep attackers away for a limited amount of time of energy. Thus making the transformation a little more interactive. But when an attacker makes it through and deals a knockout punch, there is some sort of effect that explodes or something to make it look pretty :love: and not just a cancel of the transform...

Well those are my thought ;D

I like the interactive transformation idea actually. It would bring something new to the game.

The interactive transformation idea could be interesting. However, it would need to take away the invincibility, or else it would just become too overpowered. How would you protect against beams then?

How about if you transformation is canceled if something/someone interferes? (some cool effects)
Also i thought the team said that you won't be invincible during transformations.

And effect whise they will be worked on. But code whise i think you can expect they wont change to much from 1.2

My idea would be to have canceling it drain your KI.

Cause people abuse its invoulnurability. But we have something to counter that allready so ^^

That is good to know. I hated those people who transformed right when you went to hit them.
