Topologies

Does anyone know of a good website that goes into detail about different Network Topologies? Details like speeds are good. Half the sites I've found are crap.

Any help is appreciated thanks.

Calculating maximum bandwidth/throughput depends on the hardware on the network, how many lines are being trunked together, etc... that's something you would calculate yourself

I've already been there, not enough information there. : (

Ugh, I'm an idiot. When I mentioned speeds I wasn't thinking properly, I was thinking about different network technologies not topologies. >_<

You mean like... Thinnet, Thicknet,... BASE-T, BASE-TX,... T1, T3,... OC-512, OC-768,... ?

That sort of stuff? If so, there's thousands of websites with technical specifications and details on them

Oh yeah I've got plenty of information on technologies like ATM, FDDI, Ethernet, etc but not much useful stuff on Topologies.
