Alright, everyone makes threads about techno, and rock music. But lets give it up to some gangster rap.

List some of the hardest gangster rap songs you know. Don't post repeats, and try to mix up the artists if you can.

Ice Cube - Ghetto Vet
Tupac - Hit em up
NWA - Straight outta compton
DMX - I got blood on my hands

what good ones do you guys know?

Hustle n flow - whoop that trick
BTNH - Change the world

Just some common gangster shizzle

Although you won this thread, it feels wrong if I don't post it.

I'm not really a fan of too many of the new rap groups in the least, I am a HUGE fan of the rap in the early 90's.

Run DMC, Public Enemy, Snoop Dogg back in the day were always the ****.

and Snoop is still one of my favorites to this day.

Gangster rap is crap, IMO. Artists like Sage Francis, Atmosphere, Aesop Rock and such are far superior. That being said:

Aesop Rock - Daylight
Sage Francis - Civil Obedience
Atmosphere - Sunshine

Well then it looks like you're in the wrong thread then, doesn't it? And to be honest if you feel that other types of music are far more superior then make a thread about it, don't come into mine spamming your crap "IMO". That being said, lets stay on topic and post gangster rap songs and if you need help figuring out what falls under that category then please feel free to visit this site and enlighten yourselves

Wiki article said:
Gangsta rap is a term originated by the mainstream media to describe a certain subgenre of hip hop music which developed during the late 1980s. It is a genre of hip hop that reflects the violent lifestyles of some inner-city youths.
The artists I suggested explore some of the same subject matter, but just don't glorify the "gangsta lifestyle."

But you're right, my post could have done without the crap line.

One thing I want to say about Aesop Rock is that his lyrics are intricate, in some songs he raps so fast that the lyrics are either convoluted or slightly recondite.
