i'm trying to edit the sky texture of the timechamber_map(1.3) so it can have the sky textures from the rosat map(old version of time chamber) that it's totaly white. but i don't know how to. please help me!

If you go into your open beta folder, go to "gfx" and then "env". This is where all the skybox textures are. The skybox textures used for the skybox in the hyperbolic time chamber map are:

starsbk.tga
starsdn.tga
starsft.tga
starslf.tga
starsrt.tga
starsup.tga

yes but i NEED to know whats the name of the sky textures of esf_rosat
and esf_tiemchamber. if i replace them, i will have the same sky that esf_rosat in the esf_timechamber map.:laff:

Open the files and compare. Then just rename ^^

Thats the easiest way.

You can use any program that opens TGA files.
Or better yet. You get darkulator and load the map. (dont toutch the settings or noone will be able to join your map and you wont be able to join if a server has that map)

In any case youll see the name of the file group you need.

If you change the files that I listed above, then the skybox texture should change in the maps. "esf_rosat" and "esf_timechamber" use the same skybox textures.

make a copy of the "darkhollow256_XX.tga" files and rename them to "jf_nebula_XX.tga"

darkhollow256_ = old rosat sky
jf_nebula_ = new timechamber sky

why replacing? esf_timechamber textures are very good!

yeah but the chamber could change its environment if i remember well from the show!
and the textures look kinda low quality to me! dunno why...
