The past few days I was working at this high polygon models, just for fun and for improving my work.

Tifa Lockhart from final fantasy VIII
I stepped to Photoshop witch I find it a better
program then my current one, the skins looks much cleaner and has more tools.
The skin is done only half from head to body

The hair was a really pain. I remade it from scratch by 6 times and re Unwrap UVW it by 8 times. Still I’m not satisfied about the result. But I learned lot’s of tricks by doing that ^^
Going to remake the hair once again but first must hit the UnrealED a little...

you need to bring tifa's jawline down, and round out her face. also, how come her face has a better texture than her jacket? o_O

i like the tifa, but i feel the face doesn't really capture tifa that much.. just some random girl that looks like her

You made her buggy eyed... too much coffee I suppose
Great job on the hair texture though, I've been meaning to try that out.

Redu the Jolie model... please
Her knees look deformed and her boobs shoot out too much. That doesn't resemble a human face to the least, cept the skin color i guess...

Ahem, crits... yeah,
On that Latifa chick... everything is pretty much solid...
arms are kind of stiff though...like you used simple cylinders...same with the hands...they look stiff and blocky...
On the face, I dont see much accuracy...
her lips are weirdish...like she has this akward smile...plus I think they can use a diffrent tone of color...maybe closer to the skintone.

the rest of the texture looks ok but a little boring =/ cant quite explane it but it's very basic...

Maybe show some wires/flats of the mesh?

The legs round the knees alook kinda strange. And fix those eyes cause right now it looks like shes on heavy drugs :p the rest is OK.

her calf muscles are bulging on the wrong side. The inside of her calf's should be bigger and the outsides need to be smaller. Hope you know what i mean. Good work though.

Looks 10x better. I really like it! Her face is still wayy too pointy... At least as I can tell from her chin. Her arms connect to her body all wrong :/ I mean... well, you never know what I mean anyway :S

he didnt said it now and he accept our crits, so give him a new chance ;=), thought the arm are really abit strange conected.. a wire would help :)

nway crit on the skin , the eyes area is to much orange..
althought ur skin could use some more detail work.

You can find the none mesh smooth wire frame in my first reply, If you want a new just ask
hmmm not sure where you see it blocky, maybe a draw over will help

Ah btw sorry for my behavior here, I was drive by someone else to be like that.
I was a jerk hope you guys will understand me.
Also I request apologies to Mad_AxMan for what I said to him. He only tried to help me.

no i wont "cmon". as much as this forum is a good fun place, i think you'll find that the off topic section is where that happens. the more serious forums have a no-spam policy, you know that, so dont do it.
