with the throwing system when you grab and drag someone across the landscape .You should be able throw them and let them slide across the ground leaving skid marks.when your dragging a person across the ground the skid marks should be there too.

No he just means visual representation of the action you just did. As in when you drag someone across the ground, you should see skid marks.

Its true. If the coders say they can get direction based decal spawns to work ingame, then yes we can do it. If not, then no we cant.

Did i not explain that the change of the map format meant the old skid mark function was not working anymore as the whole system is different?

Offtopic, but are most of those features in that trailer still in the game? Such as Frieza being able to pick up props with his Telekinesis like that big train and throwing it across.

Ontopic: @Grega I thought that ground models work on the maps is just that on sloped terrain they stick out? So it's a matter of figuring out how to make them stick to the ground. So in short, skids are still being worked on right?

Frieza should be able to pick up env_models, though the thing is. We didnt use a single env_model ever since the new map format was made ^^

AS for the skidmarks. Those are not models, they are decals.
