ehm, uhm, ehm, maybe for the rain? after all it is A RAIN.SPR

seeing as this topic came back, load it up in sprite explorer or something and see what it looks like. It's not for rain seeing as ESF doesn't support that and without spirit of half life loaded into the code, rain is very hard to do well (and its laggy).

It is not there by default. I am almost 100% sure you recieved the file from my server, since I have a weather plugin.

It can be used by map makers as well to add a rain effect (which is time consuming)

Umm... It came with ESF actually. I dont play online and I have it. So it must come with ESF. There is no other explanation. :laff:

theres a rather decent amount of small things like that that are accendently left into compiles of versions i wouldnt pay it to much mind
