There is no shortcut on my desktop! help me pls

Why there is no shortcut on my desktop after i setup Beta 1?
so i can't play now><

ever tried to start a mod from the custom game menu? :S

Go to your desktop and copy any shortcut and past it back on the desktop, rename it to esf then right click it go to properties and where it says target type
C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game esf

start hl
in the main menu search a point "custom game"
click on it
then you see all mods that are installed in your hl-folder
click on esf beta1
than activate

that way you don´t need a shortcut for every mod you installed
