There's a very good chance that ESF 1.3 will be the last version. I don't think the team has stated that ESF 1.3 is the last version, but the moderators and administrators have stated that it will be the last version (if I remembered correctly).

Ahh well....then let the team take as much time as they need!!! So they can make 1.3 the best version out of them all.

They did state that 1.3 will be the last version aside from minor bug fixes here and there. Other than that, last esf version.
