Currently my shader isnt done , its still work in progress , textures done on Photoshop (as a test)

The predator designe is for a movie purpose , a 10 / 15 minute movie . I still have alot of work to do on this mesh , like modeling the armor etc.... , and than i will start work on the Alien , and after that work on the movie it self .

Comments are most welcome.

This is BY FAR the best model I've ever seen on these forums O_O

So apart from "model some hands and feet" I don't have anything good to say...its pretty much perfect XD

hello dax/darkone. looks ok, you may need to re-check certain anatomy referances again though. especially the head, which isnt wide/flat enough on the front of the skull. his ass crack is a bit too defined, and theres no smooth transition of his Lats' to the front of his body.

Thamks for the tips , i have no idea what you mean about the head , look like a perfect predator resemblence (i could be wrong) , the ass problem is because i didnt weld the body together .

Check hot the predator head look , on yahoo ... thats where i got my reference pics

the dome/disk/flat part on the front of the head needs to be wider and more prominent.

hmmm one minute you say you'll texture rol predator.

Then you make a hyper realistic mesh fair play! I like it so far, I hope the texturing will be as precise as the modelling

just noticed theres a big long dent in his shin bone... wtf is up with that? btw...did you ever see the low poly pred i did? that turned out pretty well bwahahahahaaaaa

as for texturing. texturing high poly stuff is done slightly differently to low poly... its done with materials, specular effects and such...

however, i think this would look best as a normal map on a low poly model.

lol , you say it like i have never experienced hight poly texturing before ...
I use 7 maps :

Difuse map
Color map
Translucence map
Reflectivity map
Spec map
Transparency map
Bump map

Texturing hight poly stuff , is actualy easy for people that have experience in it .
The big long dent in his shin bone , isnt a dent at all , its hes 2nd shin showing off , skin flowing from bones .
