I'm not really a fan of the show, but I totally agree. I actually didn't see that coming. I'm interested in seeing what use Bob has for Bennett other than being useful as a hostage so Claire will join them willingly.

In the previous season, sylar killed claire ( alternate time line )
who has basically the same power.

That was never shown. All that was shown was Sylar stealing her power, not necessarily killing her. It cut back to current time before you could see what happened to Claire. The point was to show that Sylar took her power. That's all. So there's no proof that Sylar can kill invincible/immortal people.

you make a good point seeing as her gift is created in her brain, but is sustained in her blood

so that part is removed, causing her to die.
but the blood can still heal ( Which was shown in the previous show ) so maybe it can restore that too.

Yup. I mean think about it. She could fall from 200 ft. in the air, which would probably do a hefty bit of damage to her brain. But she can still heal after that.

Btw, even if you take into fact the glass shard in Peters head scene, Adam has a perfected set of powers. And he told Peter that the company couldn't kill him, so maybe he is a damn immortal bastard?

omg last episode, just watched it, omfg, i didn't see that coming, espcially the nathan bit... my jaw was dropped for about 5 minutes.

& in response to the whole adam and claire not dying thing, they can, he said it, on the show, blow there heads off so therefore there is no brain left to regenerate.

& i also hate mama petrelli... what a *****
