When I use some textures, like the Canyon textures with the grass on it. When I try to add one to my mountain it well... Doesn't fit right. It looks like it has one on the top and one on the bottom. Is there a way to fix this?

You need to mess with the scale and position of the texture. Just change the values and you will figure it out.

Yeah, and you might need to rotate it 90/270 degrees as well, all textures start facing north.

Another thing you can do is just highlight the texture and press the 'Fit' button, it'll stretch the texture over the brush automatically.

I think I tried that before, it looked pretty stretched last time. Thanks for the replies I'll try them out.

Yeah that'll happen, when you choose the texture it'll tell you the size (e.g. 256x256) so if you apply it to something other than a perfect square (e.g 512x256) it'll stretch it to fit.
