well, since my texturing stinks worse than rhino ass... here is what im currently working on... its still in its early stages. but i intend to learn as much as i can. if anyone wants to do paintovers, feel free =]

lol like i said earlier, he looks a little too flat (prolly the shineyness everyones raging about) and too clean (what a soldier withouth wounds?) Anyways pretty nice man :yes:

Btw the belly button is good XD o_O

looks nice, but as for my crits, i'd say its a little too red, i'd make it more yellowy, and ity seems like ur missing teh highlights/lighter colours, meh recomends teh ultimate tutorial, even though its for art, i feel it heavily applies to skinning too: http://itchstudios.com/psg/art_tut.htm

Awesome link Davidskiwan and I think the part about the skin on it is perfect. If you just add a bit of saturation between the skin rather then blending it it would be a lot better and the tone does look a bit redish to me now, not that that's a problem if you were going for that type of skin feel.

Noticed nobody else was doing you any paintovers so i whipped one up for ja.



now that i look at it the paintover should have some more pink added lol

I get more impressed everytime I see anythign 2d from ya :p

Teknik's got what ya need on the dot. I need to learn better skinning as well, I think'd I'd do a way better job if I could mapper cleaner.....but anywho, TeK, hit me on msn sumtime, I need to learn some of that **** :p
