Telekinesis bug.

Follow these steps:
  1. Select telekinesis as your weapon.
  2. Point your crosshair at an object you can pick up.
  3. Press and hold the primary fire button, but quickly press and hold the secondary fire button as well.
As a result, the object will keep rising until you let go of the secondary fire button and let the telekinesis bar progress beyond the yellow marker (actually it doesn't seem to stop exactly at the yellow marker but slightly further).

Another telekinesis related bug: ESF_Janemba (as well as a few others) has many objects stuck in the ground which are useless for telekinesis (unless the above glitch is exploited). They just don't rise enough to avoid the ground.

I've gotten one where if you hold the primary button the object is throwable but the model doesn't leave the ground at all. It begins to rotate in the ground.
