Holy ****! Is it me, or are these updates happening faster and faster? Wasn't the Scout update like a month ago? It feels like it anyway.

Arrows, eh? Man, Valve started with fairly understandable weaponry in the original version, save for the melee stuff, which was always cartoonish and personalized per class, but now they're taking each class and making the REST of their weapons like that!

And I really think they've gotten increasingly wacky as the updates have come.

Medic: Syringe Gun: More powerful, life sapping version.
Medigun: Quicker charging, but gives 100% crits instead of invuln.
Bone Saw: UberSaw, with massive damage and 25% ubercharge build per hit.

Pyro: Flamethrower: Neat looking new flamethrower with backburn ability and compression blast for the original.
Shotgun: Flare gun for lighting at a distance
Fire Axe: Badass axe which crits enemies that are aflame.

Heavy: Minigun: Minigun with traded damage for slow ability.
Shotgun: Sandwich that heals when eaten; unlimited.
Fists: Boxing gloves that give Kritzkrieg effect if used to kill.

Scout: Scatter Gun: Sawed-off shotgun with knockback + dmg traded for clip size.
Pistol: Energy drink that offers invuln without attack ability.
Baseball Bat: Bat with baseball that is hit at and stuns enemies.

Sniper: Sniper Rifle: A freaking bow and arrow.
???: A bottle of urine to be thrown at enemies ("piece a' piss"?)

More mechanics to lose control of your character, interesting. Perhaps in a years time you'll have to grind or farm your 'achievements' to get the gear everyone else has.

More mechanics to lose control of your character, interesting. Perhaps in a years time you'll have to grind or farm your 'achievements' to get the gear everyone else has.
I don't know about you, but whenever I got to an achievement farming server, it strikes me that your prediction is a little late. The farming/grinding has been going since the medic update came out :p

Really? Dang, I haven't been playing much. I feel like I've played all games released by VALVe just by completing Half-Life 2. I wonder when they'll introduce mechanics for basic movement, so you won't feel like you're 'gliding' across surfaces with simple sound effects to acknowledge there are footsteps.

New gamemode Gladiatorial cart combat ey? That sounds pretty neat actually. And the new map Nucleus looks awesome.

I think that was an April Fools day joke, if I recall correctly.

There is, however, an anti-spy provision being made for the sniper:

God I hope they are not being serious, being a spy is already hard as it is. If snipers are getting backstabbed, it's either because:

1), Sniper are sniping at a bad spot.
2), Team members fail to protect the snipers.

Though I believe it replaces their melee weapon, so they can't really slice them anymore.

what you think about the razorback(shield)?
is unnecesary or the sniper can have better weapons better?

That, and the razorback shatters after one backstab, so if the person playing the spy is smart, he/she will hightail it out of there after having his knife super-heated by the shield and try again afterward, and/or leave the sniper open to attack by another spy; after all, teamwork is the name of the game in TF2. There's no "I" in "team", even when you're a spy :p
